[This post is part of the “4 Hour Campus Plant” series. I am live blogging my attempt to plant a ministry at a new campus with only 4 hours a week. This is a continuous story that builds, so make sure to start at the beginning.]
Today it was just Sean and Kimy and myself and we talked almost fully about administration and getting ready for the Fall.
We have to become an official club so we talked about:
- finding an advisor
- getting ten students names and IDs
- naming officers
- submitting a constitution
- finding a room to meet in
By the way, the school is dead in the middle of summer and no one is around to help us – at least on Fridays.
We talked about how we don’t love this stuff but if you are not organized to start the school year, we won’t be able to take full advantage of the harvest. We want a table at the activities fair, and you need to be a club to get one!
Periscope
Have you heard of periscope? Its a new app for twitter that lets you broadcast video live to an audience. So people can jump on and ask questions and talk with you. We tried our first periscope session but I forgot to turn on the chat 🙁 SO people couldn’t ask questions. Nevertheless, here is our reflection for the day. We shared some bigger things we are learning on the macro level as well.
